Single-engine aircraft crashes in Guyana

Guyana Aviation – The Guyana Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed that a single-engine Cessna aircraft has crashed in the vicinity of Canal Number Two, West Bank Demerara around 7 p.m.

The American registered aircraft was said to have the pilot and three other passengers on board.

The plane, which bears United States registration markings, went down somewhere aback Canal Number Two, West Bank Demerara at about 7 p.m.

The plane is operated by the Seventh Day Adventist on humanitarian missions.

A search and rescue mission has been launched.
