Small tremor jolts Jamaica

A small earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 was felt in sections of Jamaica early Thursday.

The  U.S. Geological Survey in its report said the tremor occurred at 7:45 a.m. (local time).

It was located in the central parish of St. Catherine at 18.310°North and 76.994°West and had a depth of 10 kilometres.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.
