Spectacular attendance Caribbean Business Hub business event

On Tuesday, March 26, 2024, Caribbean Business Hub’s Business Boost Event was  all about meeting, connecting and doing business in the stately Julian Coco room of the Curaçao House (the embassy of Curaçao) in The Hague.

The turnout was great and among the attendees were the ambassador of the Republic of El Salvador, the director of the Arubahuis (embassy of Aruba), representative of the embassy of Angolaformer state council-member of Aruba and many lawyers, real estate agents, financial specialists, architects, specialists in logistics, healthcare sector etc…

Caribbean Business Hub is the platform to see opportunities in the Caribbean and Latin America and to enter into successful collaborations with promising companies. CBH helps entrepreneurs grow, from the Netherlands or the Caribbean. The motto is Think Big, Grow Bigger.

The evening started with a warm and tropical welcome by the chairman of Caribbean Business Hub, Nico de Visser (Managing Director at Fidinda Financial Care Group). Then it was the turn of Carl Manuel, Minister Plenipotentiary of Curaçao in The Hague. He highlighted the many business opportunities on the island. There are plenty of opportunities in every industry: tourism, hospitality, artificial intelligence, logistics, retail, agriculture, financial and healthcare sectors. It is attractive to emigrate, the standard of living is high, the settlement policy is flexible, European subsidies are possible, labour costs are lower and the infrastructure is well developed. He invited everyone to experience the island feeling, the feeling of inspiration, space and entrepreneurship for themselves.

After the extensive buffet, Marvin Sutherland (Essentialbi) invited the entrepreneurs to think along, meet each other, inspire and compliment each other. This Business Guru inspired the entrepreneurs and professionals present with his Gamechager Mindset to profile themselves authentically so that they overcome the biggest challenges with more passion, courage and persuasiveness and realize a 9+ customer experience.

The great success of the evening was certainly partly due to the board members of CBH, the Business Match Makers. Corinne & Germaine Hernandez-Croes (founders/owners of Beautyhouse Rotterdam with their own cosmetics brand NQ Cosmetics) and Lionel Martijn (director, director of OCAN, independent consultant) have linked entrepreneurs and helped them make business agreements with each other.

Again a great network meeting thanks to the Curaçao House. The next Caribbean Business Hub Event will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 with Atilay Uslu, owner and founder of Corendon & Corendon Mangrove Beach Resort in Curaçao, as keynote speaker.
