Sunrise Airways expands to Eastern Caribbean

Sunrise Airways has expanded its flight network, linking different Caribbean destinations, including St. Kitts.

As declared by the airline’s CEO and Chairman, the new connections signal “a  new day for intra-regional air travel within the Eastern Caribbean.”

At the April 30 Tourism Press Conference, Tourism Minister Marsha Henderson said Sunrise Airways came just in time for “our summer fun”.

“From May 25 to June 23rd, we will have Antigua to St. Kitts flight operating every day, save and except Tuesdays, via our new airline ‘Sunrise Airways’; after this initial period, the flights will operate daily. The aircraft to be operated will be the Embraer-120 with 30 seats.”

In addition to the St. Kitts- Antigua route, there will be two daily flights between Antigua and Dominica and a daily flight to connect Antigua and St. Lucia.

Sunrise Airways was established on December 21, 2012 and operates a fleet of approximately 12 aircraft.

Chairman and CEO of Sunrise Airways -Mr Philippe Bayard, said Sunrise Airways has cherished each new route that’s been inaugurated during the 12-year history of the airline, but ‘the latest expansion is extra special’ as the airline further carries out its mission to connect the islands of the Caribbean, under a ‘One Caribbean’ concept.

Sunrise Airways provides air travel services to Panama City, St. Maarten, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, Cuba and other destinations.
