ST JOHN’S, Antigua, Aug 21 2017 – Police have charged three men in connection with Friday night’s shooting at Cedar Grove, which led to the death of a 20-year-old woman, Xavier Thomas.

Dorian Marshall, Jason Millette and Shalom Bailey, all of Donavans, were jointly charged on Monday with murder and two counts of shooting with intent to murder.

They are accused of opening fire on Thomas, 49-year-old Lorne Nicholas and 32-year-old Shane Mathew, all of Cedar Grove, while they were sitting on a corner in the village.

Thomas was shot in her left leg and abdomen and was later pronounced dead at hospital. Nicholas and Mathew were shot in their thighs and legs respectively and were treated and discharged from hospital.

Immediately after the incident, both Millette and Bailey were arrested and taken into custody. However, a wanted bulletin was issued by the police for the arrest of Marshall, who was eventually found hiding in a house in Green Bay on Monday. He was apprehended and taken into custody. They are expected before the Court on Tuesday.
