TORONTO – Air Canada flight from St Kitts met by emergency vehicles

An Air Canada flight from St Kitts was met by emergency vehicles on landing at the Pearson International Airport on Saturday.

The captain on flight AC1731requested that the emergency response vehicles meet the aircraft after landing.

Caribbean News Service (CNS) was told this was strictly as a matter of precaution and in accordance with Air Canada’s standard operating procedures, after a hydraulic indication was received during the flight.

The aircraft, an Air Canada Rouge A319 with 108 passengers, landed normally.

The aircraft has been taken out of service for inspection.
