TRINIDAD – CAL responds to report of flight attendant being arrested while on duty

Caribbean Airlines said one of its employees who was arrested recently was not on duty at the time of the arrest.

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service by way of media release dated January 02, 2018 has indicated that a 31-year-old male flight attendant who works with Caribbean Airlines, was arrested during an anticrime exercise, in Sangre Grande, on Sunday, December 31, 2017 and a pistol and a quantity of ammunition seized from his vehicle by officers of the Eastern Division Task Force.

Caribbean Airines said the individual was not on active duty at the time of the arrest.
