BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Dec 10 2016 – A 54-year-old Trinidadian national is appearing in court today on several drug charges.
Dexter Taylor arrived here yesterday from Trinidad. Having cleared immigration, he was interviewed by police and subsequently referred to Customs. Custom Officers conducted a search of his luggage and three packages of cocaine were discovered in false compartments in a haversack he was carrying.
He was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, possession with intent to supply cocaine, trafficking cocaine and importation of cocaine.
