Farmers from Spring Garden and neighboring parts of Birchgrove were privy to agronomic practices and techniques in the cultivation of Yams, presented by resource persons from the Ministry of Agriculture.
Twenty-five farmers, all with experience in producing the starchy tuber, attended the training held on the Farm of Victor Degale and Bernice Frederick.
