2 men being questioned after woman sexually assaulted, beheaded in Jamaica

CMC – Police have detained two men for questioning in connection with the death of a 59-year-old woman, who had been sexually assaulted and beheaded last week.

Police said the mutilated body of Valerie Thompson, of Clark’s Town in Trelawny, a parish in Cornwall County in northwest Jamaica, was found about 12 hours after she left home for her farm on Thursday.

They said that she also appeared to have been sexually assaulted.

Media reports said that relatives had become concerned when Thompson, who was not married, did not return home and that several calls to her cell phone went unanswered.

A report was made at the Clark’s Town police station and during the search, her body was found in bushes with multiple chop wounds.

  1. That news is very much disturbing to heard from Jamaica about the death of the lady, that she was raped and. Also beheaded, and two foreigners was detained for questioning, and released a few hours later. The news is very sketchy at this time, I hope the police can hold the criminal who committed such an act.
