Police were on Thursday investigating a suspected suicide, the second in 48 hours.
Lawmen say a 28-year-old man was found hanging in the Golden Grove community just at 5 o’clock this morning.
On Tuesday, the body of 18-year-old Alana Lloyd was found on the floor of her bedroom.
Police said that Lloyd’s boyfriend was taken into custody and questioned amid media reports that the teenager, whose body was found by her mother, had been hanged. The boyfriend was later released from police custody.
Police Communications Officer, Inspector Frankie Thomas told reporters that the incident “is being treated as a suspicious death until proven otherwise by evidence.”
Media reports here said that prior to being detained by police, the boyfriend allegedly made posts on Facebook, threatening to end his own life.
The mother of the victim a teacher at primary school here, discovered the body when she returned home from work.
