Barack And Michelle Obama On A Caribbean Holiday

NECKER ISLAND, Jan 28 2017 – Necker, a 74-acre stretch of paradise in the British Virgin Islands is right now hosting Barack and Michelle Obama, on their first holiday after leaving the White House.

Necker Island is Richard Branson’s private Caribbean hideaway.

The Obamas jetted in earlier this week on the Virgin billionaire’s private plane.

It’s not yet known how long they’ll stay.

The island rents out for US$78,000 per night, however, the astronomical price covers almost everything you could ever want or need.

It’s staffed by a team of 100 employees, and hosts a maximum of 30 guests at a time.

Guests can kite surf, scuba dive, zip-line and enjoy luxury spa treatments.

There are also swim-up bars, two freshwater infinity pools, and tennis courts to enjoy, as well as a range of friendly locals including flamingoes, tortoises and lemurs.

It’s unclear if Branson will join them on holiday, however, the mogul lives on the island for large parts of the year, running his empire from a poolside office.
