Caribbean countries jolted by late-night earthquake

A 5.3 magnitude earthquake was felt in several Caribbean countries late Monday night.

According to an update from the University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre, the quake took place around 11:25 p.m. (E.T.).

People in Trinidad and Tobago as well as Grenada said they felt the earthquake.
