The police are investigating an incident in which a Jamaican national was murdered here late Saturday.
While not revealing all the details, police report that they were called to the scene shortly after 9 p.m. (local time) where they found the man suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead some time later.
The police have not released the identiy of the man who was in his twenties.
However, comments on social media suggest that the Jamaican man lived in West Bay.
This is the first murder in the British Overseas territory for 2018.
