ROSEAU, Dominica, Nov. 05, CNS – Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit Wednesday named December 8 as the date for general elections.
Skerrit also announced that November 19 will be Nomination day.
In the last general election held in December 2009, the ruling Dominica Labour Party (DLP) won 18 out of the 21 seats.
The main opposition United Workers Party (UWP) won the remaining three seats.
