BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, May 31 2017 – The Seismic Research Centre at the University of the West Indies (UWI), St Augustine campus, said a magnitude 4.1 earthquake occurred near Barbados in the wee hours of this morning.
The quake, which occurred at 1:08 a.m., was located at latitude 12.18 degrees north and longitude 59.91 west.
The tremor occurred at a depth of ten km. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
