BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, May 31 2017 – A 33-year-old man has been remanded to prison after appearing in court on drug-related charges.
Gregory Leon Holder was held 620.4 lbs of cannabis with an estimated street value $1, 120,000.
Police said that on May 26, the went to Paynes Bay Beach, St James, where Holder and others were seen dragging a number of bags along the beach. They started to run as the police approached.
The police gave chase and Holder apprehended. He was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis, trafficking of cannabis and possession with intent to supply cannabis.
