Plane Wreckage, Human Remains Found in Jamaican Waters Four Months After Crash

KINGSTON, Jamaica, Jan 21 2015, CNS – The wreckage of the small air craft that crashed in Jamaican waters four months ago has been found.

The private aircraft with American citizens, Larry and Jane Glazer, was reported to be unresponsive to air traffic control directions, while in flight from Rochester, New York, to Naples, Florida, USA.

Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority and the Maritime Authority of Jamaica say last Tuesday, a recovery operation got underway with technologically-advanced, underwater detection and recovery equipment from the vessel MV OCEAN PIONEER.

They say the debris from the aircraft along with human remains were recovered.

The Maritime Authority says the operation ended on Monday and findings are being transported to the USA, where the various authorities will observe the necessary post-incident protocols consistent with the national requirements of the USA.
