Police Identify Woman Whose Headless Body Was Found In A Barrel

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, Mar 17 2016 – Police have identified a woman whose mutilated and decapitated body was found in Manzanilla stuffed in a barrel on Tuesday night. Police said the body is that of Zania Livingston from Barataria.

Police have not as yet found the woman’s head but are continuing their search with the assistance of the Coast Guard.

The search will include several tributaries that connect to the Mitan River.

The body was discovered by a fisherman who saw feet protruding out of the barrel.

It bore three tattoos with the words “Leo”, “Alya” and “Empress”.
