WIC corrects its story on Antigua Citizenship

WIC News has apologized to the Citizenship by Investment Unit in Antigua and Barbuda for using erroneous information provided by a source in an article entitled ‘Aide to ‘world’s most wanted man’ arrested in London’.

Following publication, officials in Antigua and Barbuda announced that the suspect in the story had never been granted citizenship through the citizenship by investment programme.

The on-line publication had claimed that a person, named Jabir Motiwala Motiwala also known as Moti and Jabir Siddiq, was given Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship “as part of the country’s citizenship by investment programme”.

The claim was rejected by the CIU as being “utterly false.”
