ST JOHN’S, Antigua, May 03 2016 – Jamaican Dancehall artiste Popcaan found himself in hot water during his performance in Antigua on Monday night.
According to reports, the artiste was taken in custody after a premature end to a concert the deejay was booked for here.
Popcaan was arrested after an ‘altercation’ with a police officer. A police statement said he is likely to be charged with Assault and Battery of a Police Officer; Obstructing a Police Officer and disorderly conduct.
Reports also stated that fans have since gathered at police station where Popcaan is currently being held.Sources says fans are chanting ‘Free Popcaan’
